Customs Administration implements ‘e-Customs’ project in Heydar Aliyev International Airport

The Central Administration of Customs on Air Transport of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan has installed "e-Customs Declaration - Electronic Customs Service" information kiosks in the zone of customs control at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

This information was provided on the official website of the State Customs Committee by Major General of the Customs Service, Sadig Abduyev. Through these kiosks citizens will obtain information about the rules of customs clearance, customs duties and tariff rates, commodity classification and electronically declare the imported and exported goods by filling in passenger declarations. By using this e-customs service passengers will significantly save their time.

All they have to do is to fill in the declaration, print it and submit to Customs official at the border. This component of the e-customs project is being implemented by the administration as a pilot project.
