National Radio Monitoring Network to operate in online mode
Work is under way in Azerbaijan to create the first National Radio Monitoring Network. This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by Ilham Efendiyev, chief engineer of the State Radio Frequencies Agency of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies.
According to him, as part of the project certain activities will be implemented in Mehdiabad, Guneshli and Sahil settlements of Baku city as well as in some regions of Azerbaijan.
‘The Radio Monitoring Network is being built in Azerbaijan for registering radio electronic devices, preventing their unlicensed use, ensuring correct and efficient use of frequencies, exercising control over air space as well as protecting it from outside interferences’, I.Efendiyev said. Let’s note that the Radio Monitoring Network will cover the entire republic via new technology from five regional centers and sub-centers with the help of remote control systems. The new network is essential to guarantee the security of cyberspace.
