Azerpoct launches pilot project to grant pension benefits through POS-terminals
The Azerbaijani Azerpoct postal operator has launched a pilot project to grant pension benefits through POS-terminals, Postal Department of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies reported.
According to information, the pilot project has been launched in the Chayrut village in the Lerik region (325 km from Baku).
Pension cardholders may cash money through POS-terminals at Azerpoct offices. "A similar project will be implemented in other areas of the country in the future, mostly in remote villages and settlements. In this regard, increase of POS-terminals is planned for the end of the year," the company said.Pensions are paid through the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Kapital Bank.
