Three Azerbaijani banks launch online loan repayment service

Several Azerbaijani banks will render loan repayment services via the Internet soon, a source close to the project reported.

Initially, the services will be available to borrowers of Demirbank, Unibank and the Bank of Baku. Goldenpay is a structure performing maintenance work on the technical construction of the system.

The technical side of the loan repayment is transparent and easy. A borrower will have to ensure the availability of funds in the bank account balance in the amount necessary to repay the debt on the scheduled date.

The loan repayment via the Internet will be a new service rendered by banks to customers. The loan will be paid by writing off the funds from the borrower's plastic card. Besides repaying the loan, a user has to pay an additional fee for this type of service.
