Through a system of Internet filtering of software Websense, used in the Azerbaijan Education Network (AzEduNet), access to 18 million sites in 90 thematic groups that contain harmful information for pupils has been limited. According to the ICT Centre, Websense software is one of the leading solutions in the world for information security of content.
In Azerbaijan, the definition of the thematic groups on malicious web resources is carried out by the Council on the organization of Internet use and content filtering in educational institutions.
