Azerbaijani mobile phone market ups

In January-July Azerbaijan imported over 76,900 mobile phones worth over $4.5 billion, the State Statistics Committee said.

Import of mobile phones increased by 29.5 percent, in money terms - by 28.7 percent compared to the similar indicator of 2010.

The country’s average monthly import hits about 10,000 mobile phones. Monthly volume of the mobile phone market in money terms amounts to about 650,000 manat.
