Population buys more non-food products online

According to information provided by the State Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in 2015, the volume of electronic retail trade turnover amounted to 12.8 million manat in the country, which is 1.9 times more than in the previous year.
 
During the reporting period, 91,1percent of consumer goods were purchased online from commercial networks of legal entities and the remaining 8,9 percent – from individual entrepreneurs.
 
 96.3% of electronic retail trade turnover accounted for non-food products.
