The international firm of accountants Deloitte has prepared a forecast for the development of industries of high technology, telecommunications, entertainment and media in 2016.

According to the forecast, more than 80 of 100 leading software vendors will likely integrate machine learning and speech recognition technologies into their products. 
 
This is 25% more than in 2015, when 64 of the top 100 companies offered their products and services with the use of cognitive technics. By the end of 2016, in the developed countries, the number of women working in IT positions will be less than 25% of the total number of specialists employed in the field of information technologies.
 
This figure virtually corresponds with the 2015 indicator, and perhaps is even lower. The number of regular users of mobile online payments may increase by 150% (up to 50 million users) in 2016.
 
Mobile commerce gives retailers the opportunity to increase sales thanks to the popularity of mobile devices among the visitors of stores’ websites. Previously, the number of online purchases was low, mostly because of the inconvenience of the payment process.
