President has approved the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of electronic security between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Islamic Republic of Iran
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree “On the approval of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of electronic security between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
The decree says:
Guided by Paragraph 17 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan I hereby resolve:
1. To approve the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of electronic security signed between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Islamic Republic of Iran on August 7, 2016 in Baku.
2. To task the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan with executing the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding mentioned in Clause 1 of this Decree.
3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall notify the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran about the completion of all necessary internal procedures carried out for the purpose of enactment of the Memorandum of Understanding.
