IT-companies are most exposed to ‘SQL statements implementation’ attacks

Positive Technologies Company announced the results of the study of attacks on web applications in 2016. Most often, criminals, attacking web resources of the company, tried to circumvent protection systems for unauthorized access to the CMS interface.
 
So, it is reported that about half of the total number of attacks on the Positive Technologies Resources (45%) accounted for “SQL operators implementation” attacks.
 
A quarter of the total number of attacks account for "Cross-Site Request Forgery", and the one-fifth - "Uncontrolled Forwarding". About 5% of the  attacks account for  "Cross-Site Scripting", "Denial of Service", "Remote Code Execution” and “OS commands." All other attacks account for only about 1%.
 
It is interesting that the main source of attacks is Russia (43% of attacks). Ukraine accounts for 20% of the attacks. Third place goes to the UK - United Kingdom is the source of 17% of the attacks, according to https://servernews.ru.
