Baku Telephone Communication Production Association launches advance payment system
Baku Telephone Communication Production Association has launched an advance payment system for fixed (stationary) telephone services. The pre-payment system will prevent the formation of debit debts for post-paid subscribers and will ensure provision of services according to the amount paid in advance.
As of March 1 of this year, fixed (stationary) phone users will have to pay in advance their debts until the 5th day of each month. If the payment has not been made, starting from the 6th day of the month, the service will be unilaterally suspended except for calling 101, 102, 103 and 112 short numbers and subscribers will be able to receive incoming calls only.
If the debt is not paid within the next month, the subscriber’s phone will be disconnected from the network in order to prevent formation of debit debt. After the disconnection of the phone from the network, the subscriber will be able to resume service within 2 months by paying a 2-month subscription fee and covering his debts for used services.
Otherwise, the contract, which was signed with him, will be terminated. If the subscriber applies for phone service, he will have to pay 30 manat in accordance with telephone installation tariff.
It should be noted that within 2 months after the termination of the contract, the phone number will not be sold to other subscribers, which means that the subscriber will be able to get back this number after applying for phone service within the stated period.
Thus, the advance payment system makes it possible for the subscriber to resume using his phone within half-year after he pays a 2-month subscription fee and covers his debts for used services.
Note that in November 2016, the Baku Telephone Communication Production Association launched an advance payment system for internet and IPTV services. Monthly subscription fees for telephone, internet and IPTV services can be paid online or through payment terminals.
Note that Baku Telephone Communication Production Association provides stationary, CDMA, IP phone services to government and administrative bodies, individuals and legal entities.
