The Electronic Security Centre recommends users to install Microsoft’s latest security updates

The Electronic Security Centre under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies recommends users to install 61 security updates that were released by Microsoft Company to fix security gaps in the company’s software.  

The Electronic Security Centre warns users and administrators of the danger emanating from #VU921560 gap and strongly recommends them to install Microsoft’s April 2017 Security Updates on their computers in order to eliminate this threat.  
     
“These gaps might be exploited by malevolent persons for establishing remote control over the system. The latest security updates were specially released to remove the gaps in Microsoft Office software that are being used for spreading malicious codes. Therefore, it is advisable for users and administrators to install the updates on their computers within the shortest possible time.”
