Thus, the malicious program Linux.ProxyM, sends every day about 400 unsolicited messages to infected device.
 
A command containing the address of the SMTP server, the login and password for accessing it, a list of email addresses and the message template is sent to the infected device from the management server. Various sites "for adults" are advertised in the letters.
 
Most of the Linux.ProxyM attacks target Brazil and the United States, which account for approximately 13% of incidents. Russia is among the top three countries with the highest activity of the virus with an index of 6.14%.
 
Experts believe that the variety of Linux-Trojans’ “functions” will expand in the future.
