Internet-TV and internet-radio will be licensed in Azerbaijan

Internet-TV and internet-radio will be licensed in Azerbaijan. The information about this has been provided by the chairman of National Television and Radio Council Hushirevan Maharamli.

He rejected rumors that the licensing will be carried out in the country for the purpose of limitation of activities of Internet-TV and internet-radio. Maharamli said that rumors, that the licensing will be conducted according to a plan, are ungrounded.

“We don’t have such a plan, and we have never made any statements to this regard,” he added, underlying groundlessness of the accusations made against Azerbaijani Government.
