Azerpost starts issuing Debit MasterCard payment cards

Azerpost LLC has started issuing Debit MasterCard payment cards for the first time.
 
It is planned to issue 20 thousand cards at the initial stage.
 
Debit MasterCard is a debit product created by the MasterCard International Payment System.
 
The main advantage of the system is that it enables the holders of Debit MasterCard to carry out electronic commerce transactions via POS-terminals.
 
The technical advantage of Debit MasterCard payment cards is that they support non-contact operations.
 
The holders of this type of cards pay relatively lower e-commerce transaction fees compared to the holders of other types of cards.
 
Physical persons who wish to obtain a Debit MasterCard payment card should apply to any of the customer service offices of Azerpost LLC. 
 
Fees for corporate and individual customers who obtain the card are 10 AZN for 1 year, 18 AZN for 2 years and 24 AZN for 3 years.
 
Fees for employees of the organizations that participate with Azerpost LLC in the salary project are 8 AZN for 1 year, 15 AZN for 2 years and 21 AZN for 3 years.
