Japan will back domestic development of “flying cars” to solve traffic congestion problems
Japan's industry ministry will support the development of flying cars to solve traffic congestion problems. This was reported by the NHK television channel.
The ministry sees such vehicles as a potential new growth sector.
The ministry plans to form an expert panel that will discuss preparing a proper business environment, such as supporting the development of key parts.
The panel will also talk about operational rules and safe vehicle bodies.
The ministry will take the discussions into account for creating a schedule to put flying cars into practical use.
