Android P to protect users from surveillance

Google will patch up a vulnerability in Android P that allows malicious persons to spy on  users.

For this, in the new version of Android, the search giant will limit access to one of the system's functions.

Presently, all Android applications can monitor the network activity of the user. And all this happens without any notifications, so the user does not suspect anything.

As a result, malefactors can access data collected through a cloud storage client, corporate media server, or any other application on the victim’s device.

Android P will have limitations that prevent applications from accessing the network activity of other programs installed on the device, 4pda.ru reports.
