HP launches trio of new EliteBook 700 series notebooks
HP has introduced a trio of new models to its professional EliteBook lineup, each of which is part of its 700 series.
At the top of the lineup is the new EliteBook 755 G5, which available with up to 32GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 15.6-inch display. Meanwhile, the EliteBook 745 G5 and 735 G5 are available with the same RAM and storage options but with, a 14-inch display and 13.3-inch display, respectively.
All three devices are powered by AMD's Ryzen Pro mobile processors with integrated Vega graphics. Options include the Ryzen 3 2300U (2 GHz base, up to 3.4 GHz burst), Ryzen 5 2500U (2 GHz base, up to 3.6 GHz burst), and Ryzen 7 2700U (2.2 GHz base, up to 3.8 GHz burst).
Each PC can be equipped with an optional privacy camera, which includes a physical shutter. Support for LTE connectivity can also be added, and optional fingerprint and facial recognition sensors can help keep things secure. And if you often pop into remote meetings, dedicated collaboration keys can help manage calls while the world-facing, noise-canceling microphone can help to keep your voice clear for others.
HP says that the new EliteBook 700-series notebooks will be available this month starting at $999. They'll also be joined by a new 14-inch HP ProBook 645 with similar configurations starting at $759.
