Startuper will turn harmful gases into oxygen
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT), jointly with the Regional Development Public Union of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, continue holding startup tours within the framework of the project "From idea to business".
The goal of the project is to support the expansion of the startup movement and the realization of citizens’ innovative ideas.
Note that the High-Tech Park, the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies and the company "Microsoft" are organizers of startup tours, and the Public Association of Youth Movement "Javan" and the company "Azercell" are partners of the project
As is known, the first startup tour was held in Mingachevir. Rahman Jafarli, an author of the project "Oxy Generator", became the winner of a competition held within this startup tour.
At the moment, the first winner of the startup tour is improving his project with the help of specialists from the Business Incubation Center of the High-Tech Park of MTCHT. He won the right to participate with this project in the National Finals, which he also hopes to win.
Rahman Jafarli hopes that his project will turn into a business subject and will be presented to a wide audience within the framework of the 24th International Telecommunications, Innovations and High Technologies Exhibition and Conference – BakuTel.
In order to get more detailed information about the project and its author, we went to the Business Incubation Center of the High-Tech Park. When we came there, Rahman Jafarli and his teammate were busy working on the project.
Rahman Jafarli said that thanks to the warm and sincere attitude on the part of the High-Tech Park’s management and comfortable working conditions, the team is now able to develop their project at a faster pace.
"The works on the project are now at the initial stage. We are working on the layout. The team of the startup "From idea to business" is helping us with this. We are preparing ourselves for the National Finals. And we will spare no efforts to win it," he said.
Noting that work on Oxy Generator began three years ago, Rahman Jafarli added that the project has already taken the first place in Taipei (Taiwan).
"The main goal of our project is neutralization of environmentally harmful gases that are formed as a result of the operation of plants and their transformation into oxygen. At first it was just an idea, and then it turned into a project. And now we want to turn the project into business. In the future, we want to become a standalone company.
Taking this opportunity I want to address to all youth representatives who have their own ideas. Startup tours are really a good chance for putting projects into practice. Join the upcoming tours and turn your ideas into business," he said.
Note that Rahman Jafarli graduated from the Medical University. He has worked in more than 40 international and local projects.
