Atos Announces New Quantum Simulator and AI Software Suite
Atos recently announced the new version of its Atos Quantum Learning Machine (Atos QLM) -- which is now more powerful and scalable, with a two fold increase in power capacity as well as the capability to mimic physical Qubits. The Atos Quantum Learning Machine, the first commercially available and ready-to-use quantum system, allows researchers across the globe to not only execute quantum simulations on premises as well as to develop but also authenticate their quantum algorithms for future quantum accelerators with real quantum processor units.
The Atos Quantum Learning Machine gets various new features, including doubled power capacity with the ability to simulate 41 Qubits. The QLM also gets upgraded hardware modeling abilities, which includes modeling "quantum noise" that allows researchers to bring qubit simulation closer to reality. It may be interesting to note that this integration of "quantum noise" has been recognized by the Atos Quantum Scientific Council as a major step forward in the field of quantum computing research.
Besides the latest iteration of its Atos Quantum Learning Machine, the company also launched Atos Codex AI Suite -- the market's most exhaustive artificial intelligence software suite to support research institutes and businesses in the development, deployment and management of AI applications.
Arnaud Bertrand, SVP, Strategy and Innovation BDS, Atos, said, “This software suite is a new step forward to support our customers in their own digital transformation. Atos Codex AI Suite tackles new enterprise, scientific and industry challenges, such as precision medicine, advanced prescriptive maintenance and prescriptive security, with a new generation of cognitive applications, capable to address complex functions. It paves the way to new application domains and helps our customers to increase their business opportunities.”
Atos Codex AI Suite offers myriad features and benefits including acceleration of time-to-market and delivery of affordable performance. Furthermore, the suite, capable of running on multiple environments, not only provides affordable performance but also facilitates High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI convergence.
