Conference “IT Career Trends” held as part of Innovation Week
A conference entitled “IT Career Trends” was held as part of the international Innovation Week organized on October 26-30 for the first time in Azerbaijan by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) together with Heydar Aliyev Center.
The conference was held on October 26 at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. It was organized by the ICT Application and Training Centre under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
In his opening remarks, rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University Mustafa Babanly spoke about the significance of the Innovation Week and wide application of innovations in the country.
Then, Director of ICT Application and Training Centre Rauf Jabarov talked about the importance of the conference for young people, and Neuron CEO Ismayil Alakbarov stressed the demand for new personnel in the field of innovation.
The conference covered such topics as the presentation of the technological specialties required for the modern period, career opportunities in these professions and new technological trends.
Representatives of academic organizations, government agencies and business structures made presentations on new information technologies, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, blockchain, etc.
The conference was very important in terms of the interest of young people in innovative areas and raising their level of professionalism.
