The Global Influencer Day was held at Heydar Aliyev Center on October 27.
The event, organized by Keepface DMCC and FA International Trade Events, was held as part of the Innovation Week held by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies together with Heydar Aliyev Center. Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva took part in the event.
At the event, the participants were informed on the development of human intelligence in the information age. The holding of the Global Influencer Day was regarded as a manifestation of the importance attached to modern communication and marketing technologies in Azerbaijan at the state level.
Speakers also stressed that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has created the necessary structure for startuppers. The conference Global Influencer Day is a clear example of this fact.
The co-founders of the global marketing infrastructure platform Keepface Emin Veliyev, Elshad Yusifli and Vagif Abbasov informed the conference participants about the idea and philosophy of influencer marketing, as well as global influencer marketing platform Keepface, which was created three years ago and operates today in 35 countries around the world. “We are proud that the platform, created in Azerbaijan by a team consisting of Azerbaijanis, presents local brands to the world,” the co-founders said, expressing gratitude to Azerbaijani government for its support.
Following the demonstration of the video about high technologies and innovations, the guest, the owner of artificial intelligence, robot Sophia appeared on the stage, which was expected by everyone with special interest.
Expressing her appreciation to the idea of Global Influencer Day, Sophia thanked the organizers of the event and noted the beauty of the building of Heydar Aliyev Center. She also liked the Azerbaijani national dress, which she was wearing at the event.
During her speech, Sophia touched upon the relations between humans and robots: “Some are afraid of robots, they think that in the near future they can subjugate people. No one will, because the creator of robots is the human intelligence. Robots are created to help people. "
Sophia also said that she loves to travel, touched the value of social networks, spoke about the capabilities of artificial intelligence. She also stressed the advantages of our country: "Azerbaijan, which brings together representatives of different cultures, religions, has great potential."
During the performance, the viewers witnessed how Sophia can joke. The robot expressed regret that she would not be able to taste samples of our cooking.
Then Leyla Aliyeva familiarized herself with the Fobia Viar exhibition organized at Heydar Aliyev Center. Fobia Viar is one of the largest centers of virtual reality in Azerbaijan. Visitors can familiarize themselves with various modern high-tech machines. This exhibition is presented not only as Game zona, that is, a space for games, but also as a center where programs related to virtual reality are created. The center implements in museums the use of virtual reality in the field of art.
At the end of the event, Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva talked to Robot Sophia and posed for photo.
“Sophia is the world's first humanoid robot with artificial intelligence. The robot was made in 2015 by Hanson Robotics, and based on artificial intelligence, the robot can communicate and exchange views with a person. One of the main distinguishing features of the robot is that she is able to reflect more than 60 emotions specific to man. Up to now, Sofia has met with many famous people from all over the world, has appeared on television channels, news programs and televised debates.
