“Shebeke” service center commissioned at Baku International Bus Terminal Complex

Today, on the occasion of December 6 – the professional holiday of communication and information technology workers, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) commissioned another "Shebeke" service center in Baku.

The center is located in the territory of the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex (Baku-Sumgayit Highway, 3).

Services provided to citizens at "Shebeke" service centers by MTCHT structures are concentrated in a single space. "Shebeke" service centers provide, along with traditional telecommunications and postal services, banking-financial and tourist services, including the sale of air tickets.

The centers also sell international and local payment cards, compulsory insurance policies, envelopes, postage stamps and postcards. Additionally, citizens can transfer money, pay budget and utility bills, pay state mortgage fund bills and register mobile devices at "Shebeke" service centers.

Citizens can also use self-service terminals at the centers. It is possible to make payments for utility bills, mobile, communication and many other services through the payment system SmartPay.

Unlike other "Shebeke" service centers, the new center has Azercell Express Customer Service Department. Here, Azercell subscribers can pay phone bills, use customer services, and buy a new phone or a phone number.

It should be noted that this is the 9th "Shebeke" service center to be launched in the country.

Presently, services meeting modern standards are provided to citizens at the following addresses: Sabail district, Uz.Hadzhibeyli street, 72; Yasamal district, G. Dzhavid avenue, 19, block 520; A. Sharifzade street, 124; Mardakan settlement, S. Yesenin street, 102; Binagadi district, 8 microdistrict, A.Nakhchivani Street, 22; Jalilabad city, Heydar Aliyev Avenue, 270; Zagatala city, Heydar Aliyev Avenue, 36; Sumgayit city, 4 microdistrict, Heydar Aliyev street, 1.

Service centers are available to citizens throughout the week, including holidays.

The main goal of creating "Shebeke" service centers is to provide services to the population in accordance with high standards, improve the usability of services for citizens, save users’ time, and ensure transparency.

Note that the realizations of the project "Shebeke" started in February 2017 at the initiative of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.

During 11 months of this year, about 930 thousand people applied to 8 "Shebeke" service centers operating in the republic.

In the future, it is planned to open new centers in all major cities and regions of the country, including in Baku.
