Wang Xiaochu, Chairman of Unicom, will officially open 5G test network in seven cities
On April 23, China Unicom and Shanghai Municipal Government jointly hosted Shanghai 5G Innovation and Development Summit and China Unicom Global Industry Chain Partnership Conference. Wang Xiaochu, chairman of China Unicom, announced at the meeting that China Unicom 5G pilot network was opened in seven cities such as Shanghai, marking that Shanghai became the first trial city of China Unicom 5G in China.
At the same time, China Unicom has released the 7+33+n 5G experimental network deployment, which covers the core areas of seven cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Xiongan, and provides 5G network coverage in the hot spots of 33 cities and X urban industry application areas, providing a broader test scenario for partners, promoting 5G application incubation and industrial upgrading.
