Winners of contest held with joint organization of MTCHT awarded


The awarding ceremony of the contest “Best Presentation”, organized in connection with the 96th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, took place.
 
The contest held among pupils of IX-XI grades of general education schools was organized by the Ministry of Education, Heydar Aliyev Foundation, New Azerbaijan Party, Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) and Republican Committee of the Independent Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Employees.
 
Speaking at the event, Education Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized that this contest is one of the important events held for the purpose of constantly exploring the rich heritage, glorious path of life and activities of the founder of an independent Azerbaijan, a brilliant politician and an outstanding statesman Heydar Aliyev by young generation. He congratulated the winners of the contest and wished them success.
 
Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov said that today in the country the development of education, implementation of large-scale reforms in this area ensures the successful future of Azerbaijan.
 
Noting the importance of the contest “Best Presentation”, Ali Ahmadov spoke about the historical merits of national leader Heydar Aliyev to the Azerbaijani people and state. He noted that the contest plays an important role in terms of mastering the rich heritage of great leader Heydar Aliyev and formation of the ideology of statehood among young people.
 
Then chairman of the Republican Committee of the Independent Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Employees, member of Milli Majlis Sattar Mohbaliyev said that the contest contributes to enhancing young people’s knowledge and skills. He also stated that the contest participants will be awarded by the committee.
 
Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade highlighted that this traditional contest contributes to the formation of respect towards the national-spiritual and universal human values ​​among young people. Elmir Velizade stressed that the development of young people in our country is constantly in the spotlight.
 
According to the results of the contest “Best Presentation”, 6 people were awarded diploma of the first degree, 11 people – the second degree and 18 people – the third degree and 27 people were awarded certificates of appreciation.
