Experts name common user habits that lead to breakdown of smartphones
Experts have compiled a list of the most common user errors that lead to breakdown of smartphones.
Most often, smartphones sustain physical damage as a result of careless actions of the owners. Thus, the owners drop their gadgets into the water while taking selfies near water bodies. It is also dangerous to wash moisture-proof devices under running water: the pressure provides point pressure, which leads to ingress of water inside the device.
Another bad habit is charging a smartphone at night. Attempting to put the phone on charge before bedtime can lead to deformation of the connector, since not everyone can insert the plug into it from the first time in the dark.
Also, experts advise not to use cheap cables for charging. They can significantly harm the battery. It is not recommended to cover your smartphone with clothes or put it under a pillow while charging: this leads to overheating.
“Charging a smartphone in the summer in the sun or in the winter in a car with the engine turned off at a cold temperature greatly reduces its lifespan,” Gazeta.ru writes.
In addition, you should not play "heavy" games while charging, and the gadget should be charged at 15–20%.
It is also important to keep track of installed applications. Their work in the background functioning significantly reduces the battery life of the smartphone, reports iz.ru.
