These two devices are the first products of Xiaomi's cooperation with Meitu. Meitu is also a Chinese tech giant that focuses on selfie apps. It is rumoured that there will be a special Meitu edition of the CC9 series.
Leaks and renders suggest specifications of the smartphone, revealing almost everything. The CC9 and CC9e will have 3D glass bodies. The phones will sport triple rear cameras along with an LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is most likley to embedded in the display. There is cutout for a 3.5mm audio jack at the top, while the volume rockers and power button rest on the right.
The USB Type-C port and speaker grills could be placed on the bottom. The official transparent cases will be available in white, blue, pink, purple, green, red, and grey colour options.
The CC9's main rear camera will be a 48 MP unit, while on the front there will be a 32 MP shooter for selfies. RAM will be 4/6/8GB depending on version, with internal storage at 64/128/256GB. A 3,940 mAh battery should be ample enough to keep the lights running for quite some time. The CC9e is likely powered by a Snapdragon 710, 712, or 632.
