OPPO A9 2020 with quad cameras and 5,000mAh battery launched

The OPPO A9’s 2020 edition has been officially launched in India. It is a mid-range device that boasts of a quad rear camera setup. Alongside, OPPO has also announced the A5 2020.
 
The A9 2020 plays host to a 6.5-inch HD+ display panel with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent and Gorilla Glass 3+. A waterdrop notch is present on top, with a selfie snapper residing inside it. Performance-wise, the device will be the first by OPPO to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor with 4GB/8GB of RAM. The internal storage on the OPPO A9 2020 is 128GB and can be expanded by up to 256GB via a microSD card. Game Boost 2.0 and dual stereo speakers are also present on the OPPO A9 2020, along with Dolby Atmos audio.
 
In terms of optics, the phone has a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens on the back. Features like Ultra Night Mode 2.0 and Portrait Stylizers are included in the package. Beneath the vertical camera setup, there’s a physical fingerprint sensor. For selfies, the device will feature a 16MP sensor on the front. Furthermore, the mid-range smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for reverse charging. It runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.1 on top.
 
The OPPO A9 2020 will be available in Marine Green and Space Purple colours. It comes in 4GB + 128GB and 8GB +128GB variants. It will be available on Amazon India starting September 16th, and offline starting September 19th.
