Azerbaijan launches video conferencing service based on cloud infrastructure Azcloud

AzInTelecom LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the first time in the country has launched the video conferencing as a service (VCaaS) based on its Azcloud cloud infrastructure.

It should be emphasized that the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in the format of a Contact Group on the theme “We are together against COVID-19”, recently organized on the basis of a video conferencing service on the initiative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, was a major international-level state event. It was for this significant online meeting, which was attended by over 40 countries and various international organizations, the main processes and procedures for this cloud solution were carefully prepared, reliable and secure communications, as well as simultaneous translation were provided. Besides, the international videoconference of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), held on the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the beginning of the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, with the participation of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Prime Minister of Hungary, Secretary General of Turkic Council, as well as senior representatives of the World Health Organization, was also conducted online through a secure and encrypted communication.
