Azerbaijani mobile phone market ups by 40.9 percent

In January-October Azerbaijan imported over 116,700 mobile phones worth more than $6.9 million, the State Statistics Committee's report on 11 months told on Wednesday.

According to the report, import of mobile phones increased by 40.9 percent compared to the similar indicator of 2010, in money terms - by 25.8 percent. The country's average monthly import hits 10,000 mobile phones. Monthly volume of the mobile phone market in money terms amounts to about 600,000-650,000 manat.
