Motorola makes Apple pull iPhones in Germany
Apple says it has withdrawn several iPhone and iPad models from its Internet store in Germany because of a dispute with Motorola.
The move is in response to a court ruling sought by Motorola that Apple should not be using its mobile technology in the devices without a license.
The dapd news agency reports Apple says Motorola has refused to license the technology even though Motorola agreed it should be an industry standard.
The devices withdrawn are the iPhone 3G, the iPhone 3Gs and the iPhone4 and UMTS-capable iPads — but not the iPhone 4S. The products are still available in stores.

Details of the map of Panem will roll out in the game as its world reveals itself over time, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"We chose Funtactix to create this game because they bring the level of authenticity and quality to their movie-based social games that is crucial to fans of The Hunger Games."
The Hunger Games, directed by Gary Ross (Seabiscuit), follows the annual fights to the death on live television between a boy and girl from a dozen districts.
