Ganja hosts seminar on state-governed electronic information system "student - graduate"


Following the president of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev’s decree ‘On Creation the State-Governed Electronic Information System ‘Student – Graduate’, the State Students Admission Commission started developing software support and bases for this system.

 The two day training was organized today in Ganja city in order to introduce this system in all educational organizations. According to information provided by ‘ICTnews’, public and educational institutions have appointed responsible persons and operators to put this system into operation. The appointed persons will be regularly provided with information on innovations. 

The new system has form of corporative network. Educational institutions and 13 public organizations were connected to the system by the president’s order.  The system is administered by the State Students Admission Committee.  Spokesman of the State Student Admission Committee, Sahib Mardanov, told that information about citizens, who apply to state organizations for work, will be obtained  directly from  the data base.

The system guaranties confidentiality of all collected information.   People, who work with this system, are provided with the special code and cipher. To obtain the information the operator downloads digital certificate, which insures exchange of information between computers.  

‘By using date base connection parameters the operator access the system to gets information. The system has double protection, which makes it impossible for hackers to crack or  damage it. 21 of the seminar participants are employees of educational institutions located in Ganja city and surrounding areas’, told Mr. Mardanov.  Let’s note that 45 people will take in this seminar that will last for 2 days.  57 people will  receive certificates for accessing the system.
