65% of Azerbaijani population use Internet

Currently, 65% of the Azerbaijani population uses the Internet and half of them use broadband.
The minister of communication and information technologies, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies reported.
 
During 2004-2010, average rate profitability on ICT in Azerbaijan outstripped the world average 2.5-3 times and the share of private ICT sector over the same period reached 80%.
Today on every 100 persons falls 110 mobile phones.
