Process of application to ethics officers by citizens has been fully digitalized


In connection with the transition to the e-Government certain measures have been implemented in Azerbaijan in order to simplify for citizens the process of making electronic applications to  ethics officers of public bodies.  As part of these measures ethics sections have been created in web-sites of public bodies, and citizens have been provided with easy access to these ethics sections through the website of the  Civil Service Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to information provided by ‘ICTnews’, these activities were outlined in the Civil Service Commission’s annual report for measures implemented for enlightenment of citizens on issues related to the standards of ethical behavior, and current situation on the application of the standards of ethical behavior in accordance with Clauses 20.0.2 and 22.1.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Standards of Ethical Behavior of Civil Servants.

It was also mentioned in the report that the institute of ethics officers responsible for the observance of the Standards of Ethical Behavior has been formed in all public bodies, and citizens have been provided with the capability to make electronic applications directly to ethics officers of public bodies through the Civil Service Commission’s web-site, which contains full information on ethics officers of public bodies (name, surname, position, telephone number ant etc.).
