The Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University has launched the ‘Microsoft IT Academia’ project. The project aims at training specialists in ‘Microsoft’ software.

This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by the manager of the ‘Cooperation in Education’ program of ‘Microsoft-Azerbaijan’ Emin Akhundov. According to him, within the project the university will organize IT courses for its students. ‘Trainings will be conducted within the time schedule and under the conditions determined by the university. Upon completion of the courses students can take examinations to receive ‘Microsoft’ industry certificates.

These trainings will help students to rise their professional skills to be well-prepared for the live outside the university walls.

At present, the university is preparing teachers for the IT courses. It is highly probable that the ‘Microsoft IT Academia’ will start operating at the Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University from the next school year. We want this academia to operate in all Azerbaijan’s universities with IT departments’, he said.
