Azerlotereya OJSC plans to start selling lottery tickets at the end of the first quarter of this year. The sale of lottery tickets will be carried out through the Internet, PayPoint terminals, Topaz gambling sport games centers with use of SMS.

This information was provided to "ICTnews" online news service by the head of Azerlotereya OJSC Magsud Tagiyev. According to him, last year, the company began developing special software for online sale of lottery tickets. "The software is almost ready. The new service will be put into operation in March in the test mode. We also updating our website and expanding its functionality. The company announced a tented at the end of 2012 in order to increase the sale of tickets.

To date, lottery tickets have been sold by the single distributor, but we are expanding this network. 3 companies were selected in the tender. Our current distributer "Lotto Yayim" company was among the winners of the tender.

This company sells lottery tickets via our terminals. The second winner of the tender was "Azerintellect" company which represents "Topaz" gambling sport games centers.

These companies will sell lottery tickets at their own sales outlets. They have over 400 sales outlets. We are interested in working with these companies, because we don’t have to invest extra money in buying additional terminals. The third winner of the tender was "SIP Ltd" company. This company will use SMS to sell lottery tickets via PayPoint terminals. We intend to work with all the three companies. At the same time, Azerlotereya OJSC will continue to increase the number of its terminals."
