Azerbaijani startups will take part in the semifinals of the “Startup Village” international competition


Azerbaijani winners of the Open Innovations Startup Tour, which was held in Baku jointly by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the Russian Skolkovo Foundation and the High Technologies Park (HT Park LLC), will take part in the semifinals of the "Startup Village" competition.        
 
Thus, the "Lia" project developed by Arif Movsumzadeh, Alexei Jafarov and Fidan Rustamova, the "Kvotter" project developed by Orkhan Ahmadov and the "Healthy Life platform" project developed by  Shahlar Pashayev will  take part in the semifinals of the startup competition on Azerbaijan’s part.      
 
In total, more than 20,000 participants, 3,500 startups and more than 600 investors will partake in the event.
 
Participation in the competition will allow Azerbaijani startups to provide potential investors with detailed information about their projects and to gain access to international markets.
 
Note that the Open Innovations Startup Tour, which is considered the largest startup event in Russia and the CIS, was held on April 17-18 in Baku.
 
A total of 82 projects were presented to the Open Innovations Startup Tour, whose main goal is to support promising and innovative projects in the field of high technologies. 15 of these projects were admitted to the competition.  
 
The "Startup Village" competition is a traditional event held within the framework of the Open Innovations Startup Tour and is considered one of the largest startup competitions in Europe.
