Regional Communication Association will hold meeting in Baku to discuss issues related to radio frequency


The 7-th meeting of the Regional Communications Association’s working group, created for developing efficient methods of utilization of the effect of noise propagation in medium and long waves, will be held in Baku between 11-14 October 2011.

According to information provided by the head of the Department of International Relation under The State Administration of Radio Frequency, Mehti Agagulov, every year one of CIS countries hosts a meeting, whose agenda always contains questions related to this subject.

At the forthcoming meeting representatives of radio frequency committees of communication associations of CIS countries will discuss ways of eliminating interferences, which hinder normal operation of equipment of various regional communication administrations, and which take place after transition of frequency band to free regime.

Besides, the meeting will discuss the questions related to the stations employed by the Regional Communication Association.

These stationed were registered at the International Telecommunication Union, and they operate in synchronous regime, in compliance with Geneva-75 plan.
