High-Tech Park starts handing out travel grants to local startupers

The High-Tech Park of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has begun handing out travel grants to the authors of startup projects that operate in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By using these travels grants, the creators of startup projects will be able to take part in international investment-oriented startup events held overseas and to organize visits for meetings with foreign investors.

A presentation ceremony of the first travel grants was held today within the Fast-Track Acceleration Program.

Ticketsetup startup was one of the projects to receive a travel grant.

The system created within this project makes it possible to easily organize the centralized sale of tickets. The system incorporates all stages, including creation, sale and checking of tickets. It also allows the user to get information about the sold tickets from the interactive control panel.

To date, over 1.5 million tickets have been sold in Azerbaijan through the Ticketsetup system.

During his visit to Cologne (Germany), the manager of the project will attend the Startup Con conference and exhibition, which is considered one of the largest startup events in Europe, and will participate in acceleration programs. In addition, he will have the opportunity to use the office at RTZ Center Co-working free of charge for 3 months, starting from September 15.

Thanks to the travel grant, the project, whose main purpose is to bring products to the European market, implement the process of formation of the company and to conduct comprehensive study of the local market, will get even closer to the goal.

The project OnBrunch was also given a travel grant.

Currently, the project creates virtual projections of separate social networks. In addition, Onbranch provides information on spatial menus, three-dimensional reservation systems, online sales and discount campaigns.

The project has got an invitation to Startup Istanbul Competition, which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey.

It should be noted that Startup Istanbul is a competition, in which 100 finalists selected from 25,000 applicants from 135 countries will take part, and is a forum, in which well-known mentors will participate.
