Samsung Galaxy Beyond X Smartphone to Sport Six Cameras & 5G Support

Samsung Galaxy S10 will be launching early next year and we are already seeing several leaks. The earlier rumors suggested that the company will unveil the new Galaxy S10 smartphones in February 2018. After losing its markets share to the Chinese manufacturers, the Koran giant is betting big on 2019. According to WSJ, the company will actually launch four variants under the Galaxy S series in 2019. The three devices will be the Galaxy S10 variants and should be unveiled during MWC 2018.

The fourth variant in the Galaxy S series will be unveiled later in Spring and its availability will be limited to just the US and South Korea. It is said to be internally codenamed as Beyond X. The device will be offering 5G support and sports a total of 6 camera sensors. Samsung already launched the world’s first smartphone with quad rear cameras. The Galaxy A9 came with quad rear cameras and a single front camera. The Beyond X variant of the Galaxy S10 will sport quad rear cameras along with dual front cameras.

The recently launched Honor Magic 2 also came with six camera sensors, it sports triple cameras on the front and rear. Samsung already unveiled the Exynos 9820 SoC built on 8nmprocesss that will power the Galaxy S10 smartphones. However, the US and Korean units will come powered by the rumored Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 Mobile Platform. In that case, the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10 will also use the Snapdragon chipset instead of the in-house Exynos 9820 chip.
