South Korean startup company develops smart thermometer

A smart thermometer that can measure body temperature without touching the skin was developed in the South Korean city of Busan.

BoomCare is a smart thermometer that can accurately measure body temperature with an infrared sensor, without touching the skin. It can also interact with a smartphone.

As is known, Busan-based startup company IsProbe recently signed a three-year agreement to supply these thermometers to Taiwan.

The first batch of thermometers will go to Taiwan next month.

"This is our first foreign contract, but we hope that this is only the first small step on the way to advancing to other foreign markets," company representatives said.
