The Russian brand BQ released TVs for the price of very cheap smartphones

BQ has released six budget televisions in Russia. All models are characterized by digital TV support, which is relevant for Russia after the transition to digital broadcasting, and they all cost less than 9,000 rubles. In the future, BQ plans to expand its range of TVs with models with larger displays and smart TV support.

Anti-crisis TVs

The Russian company BQ has released six new models of compact TVs in the domestic market. All new items cost no more than 9 thousand rubles. They are available for sale in large electronics stores.

Six TVs can be divided into three lines of two models, with differences primarily in the diagonals of displays. The younger series includes TV with 21.5-inch screens, the next 23.6 inches, the third 31.5 inches.

Compact TVs

The 21.5-inch lineup includes the BQ 2201B and BQ 2202B televisions. Models cost 6490 rubles. each, support Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels) and have two 3 W speakers.

The screen of both TVs received viewing angles of 170 degrees horizontally and 160 degrees vertically, the ability to display 16.7 million colors and LED backlight. The televisions have analog and digital (DVB-C / T / T2 / S2) tuners, satellite TV antenna input, one HDMI and USB connector, as well as component and composite inputs and a coaxial output.

The dimensions of the TVs were 502x153x334 mm with a stand and 502x66x299 mm without it. Power consumption during operation does not exceed 36 watts. In terms of characteristics, there are no differences between the models.

Monitor-sized TVs

BQ 2401B and BQ 2402B televisions with 23.6-inch diagonal screens are next in the list of BQ's new products. The acoustics in them are more powerful in comparison with the younger models – 16 W (two speakers of 8 W each), but the resolution is lower – 1366 × 768 pixels (HD format).

In fact, the BQ 2401B and BQ 2402B differ from the previous line only in display sizes, matrix resolution, acoustics and physical dimensions – 552x67x332 mm without a stand and 552x151x366 mm with it. The rest of the specifications are identical – the viewing angles of the matrix, the number of connectors, and the presence of a digital tuner in addition to the analog one coincide. HDMI can be used here, for example, to connect to the system unit of a computer instead of a conventional monitor.

The cost of BQ 2401B and BQ 2402B TVs is 6990 rubles. regardless of model. Rated power consumption – 48 watts.

Bigger TVs

BQ also released BQ 3201B and BQ 3202B TVs, priced at 8,990 rubles. In both cases, an HD-matrix with a diagonal of 31.5 inches, LED backlighting and wider viewing angles is used in comparison with four other TVs – 178 degrees vertically and horizontally. The number of displayed colors is 16.7 million.

The TVs received two 7-watt speakers each, one USB port for connecting external drives and two HDMI inputs. Overall dimensions without a stand were 730x78x430 mm, and with a stand – 730x189x473 mm.

All six new BQ televisions carry a headphone jack, a CI + card slot, and teletext support. The rated power of older models is 65 watts.

A lot of TVs

BQ claims to have entered the television market for the first time, and that there are no other models besides those listed in its catalog. Nevertheless, on its official website (bq.ru) there are more than 30 TVs with a diagonal of up to 49.5 inches and a cost of up to 22 thousand rubles.

The list of models, in addition to the released ones, includes televisions with screens of 38.5, 39.5, 40 and 42.5 inches. Among them there are both ordinary and smart TVs (smart TVs) – for example, the 23.6-inch BQ 24S01B, priced at 8,990 rubles. All of them at the time of publication of the material were available for pre-order. As a representative of BQ told CNews, so far only six announced models are available for purchase. In the future, the company's line of TVs will expand.

The Russian brand BQ, which should not be confused with the Spanish BQ Mobile, has existed since 2013, and the abbreviation in its name stands for Bright & Quick. The copyright holder of the trademark is New Line LLC.
