Number of cyber attacks increased


Since the beginning (September 27) of Armenia’s large-scale provocations at the front, the number of cyber attacks in the country has increased 5-6 times compared to ordinary days.
 
Incoming calls from foreign countries, hacking of webcams, mass attacks on routers and modems, attacks on news sites, falsifying accounts on social network, phishing attacks – all these  are the enemy provocations we encounter almost every day.
 
In recent days, the number of complaints about the blocking of Facebook users’ accounts in Azerbaijan has also increased.
 
The Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies urges users of the social network Facebook to comply with the rules below to prevent the blocking or cancellation of their accounts.  
 
The following cases can lead to the blocking of your Facebook account:   
 
–Creation of fake accounts in order to represent yourself to another person or organization;
 
–Dissemination of messages that violate intellectual property rights;
 
– Use of personal account for business purposes;
 
– Repeating comments or posts, sending or receiving a large number of friendship requests at the same time (accepted as spam by Facebook);
 
– Getting artificial likes, followers and views;
 
–Exchange of messages of a pornographic nature (especially child pornography);
 
– Purchase and sale of firearms, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products among individuals;
 
– Purchase and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances;
 
– Committing  violence and insults related to a person’s race and nationality, religious and political views, gender, sexual orientation, disability, illness and other circumstances;
 
– Personal insult, incitement to hatred, information of humiliating and defamatory nature;
 
– Incitement to suicide;
 
– Exchanging messages that pose a threat to health and society;
 
– Propaganda and encouragement of terrorism or violence;
 
– Unauthorized sharing of personal information of another person;
 
– Cyber fraud activity for obtaining funds illegally;
 
– Attempts to seize someone else’s social network account;
 
What should be done to prevent Facebook account from blocking?
 
–Follow the terms and conditions of using the social network Facebook.
 
–Avoid the above actions that may lead to the blocking of your Facebook account.
 
–Do not create fake accounts using other people’s personal information.
 
–Do not share information prohibited by law.
 
–Avoid posting that violates copyright and promotes terrorism, violence and hatred.
 
–Do not share others’ personal information without their permission.
 
–Avoid insults, threats, or other unpleasant language when communicating with people. Express your personal opinions in a way that does not violate the rights of others and with mutual respect.
 
–Use business pages to advertise products and services.
 
–Do not repeat your comments and postings, do not try to gain likes, followers or views artificially.
 
–In addition, complain about content that violates Facebook rules (account, comment, posting, advertising, etc.) by clicking the three dots on the right side of the posting or account without comments.
 
What should I do if my Facebook account is blocked?
 
If you believe that you have not violated the above rules and Facebook has blocked your account by mistake, please follow the link below and fill out Facebook’s official application form.

Enter the following information in the fields shown in the figure:
 
1. Email address or mobile number you used to register your account;
 
2. Your first and last name shown in your account (as on Facebook);
 
3. Clear image of your ID (in .jpeg format).
 
Then submit your application to Facebook by clicking the "Submit" button.
