Broadband internet network to be built in villages of Agchabedi region


The number of internet-users in Agchabedi region is growing rapidly. Head of Agchabedi Telecommunication Hub, Mirish Agamirov told that there are 3 major internet providers in the region: "Aztelekom.net", "Dataplus" and "Qtelekom" with 984, 490 and 200 subscribers respectively.  

"The regional communication network has been fully electrified, and optical cable lines have been laid to the villages in order to provide residents with high quality internet services.  For the time being, most of internet-users in the region use the "Dial-up" connection to access the Internet.

The works in this direction are continuing now, and after the building of the internet network in the villages has been completed, the residents will be able to use high quality internet services. 11 new computers have been installed in the internet-club of the telecommunication hub so that the young people could spend their spare time in a profitable way.

Besides, the Agchabedi Telecommunication Hub signed a contract with a teacher of secondary school No:3, Irada Huseynova. Under this contract, the pupils of the school have been allotted a room where they are being taught basic computer skills: work with a computer, access to the internet and other operations.  

Once a month the school’s pupils can visit the Agchabedi Telecommunication Hub to participate in a videoconference and increase their computer skills.
