An international conference titled ‘Azerbaijan – NATO cooperation after Chicago Summit : New prospects for cooperation’ has been held in the Scientific-Research Institute for Human Rights of ANAS. The activity was jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation, the NATO's Public Diplomacy Division, the Embassy of Romania in Azerbaijan and the Scientific-Research Institute for Human Rights of ANAS.
Romanian Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan (NATO Contact Embassy in Azerbaijan) Daniel Christian Ciobanu made a statement at the conference. In his statement the ambassador stressed the importance of the declaration adopted at the Chicago Summit.
A videoconference between experts from the Information Technology Institute of ANAS and the head of the Public Diplomacy Cooperation Department of the General Headquarters of NATO Mishel Duray was organized trough the scientific computer network AzScienceNet.
During the live conference, M.Duray spoke about NATO’ future activities in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and other regions. He also told the conference participants about the importance of the Chicago Sammit and answered their questions.
