Azerbaijani folktales adapted to “iOS” and “Android” mobile platforms

The National Association of Computer Games (AzKOMA) continues the implementation of the project "Cultural heritage and modern information and communication technologies: interactive tales" with the support of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation. Under the project, AzKOMA prepared two folktales - "Let well enough alone favor good" and "The fox and the stork."
 





 



In his interview with "ICTnews" online news service the president of AzKOMA Ramil Aliyev said that the special visual effects of the interactive tales were adapted for "IOS" and "Android"  mobile platforms that are widely used in the world and support touch screen options. This means that the tales will soon be available on all modern devices, including computer tablets and smartphones.    
 

 







So children will become acquainted with the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, while learning to use modern information and communication technologies. While sitting in front of the screen and watching an interactive tale, children will feel like participants of the tale.  This is because they will be able to touch and move any object on the screen. Children will be also able to watch the interactive tales with the help of subtitles.
 
All the folktales developed within the project can be downloaded into mobile devices through "Play Market" app.
