After that, users can use their voice to enter search queries, and the browser will process them correctly. Functionally, the voice search in the browser remains identical when using any of the available options.
The source notes that for the first time the ability to use the Google Assistant as a voice search tool was noticed in the Android version of Chrome back in January this year, but then the function did not work. Most likely, since then Google has made the necessary changes on the server side and now this tool can be adopted by all users of the company’s browser. The feature is reported to work correctly in the stable version of Chrome 87 for Android devices.
