Chinese Research Center creates photoelectronic night vision chip

The Research Center for Optoelectronic Technology under Yunnan University (China) created a new photoelectronic chip. In the future, it can be installed on glasses, mobile phones and other portable devices in order to increase visibility under conditions of poor lighting and contrast at night.

Present-day professional night vision devices are cumbersome and expensive and are commonly used in military and scientific fields. They cannot be used with civilian portable equipment, Belta.by reports.
