Administrative projects related to e-services rendered by the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been presented to the public for discussion.  According to information provided by ‘ICTnews’, these electronic services include prolongation of temporary residence in Azerbaijan, obtaining permission for temporary residence,  obtaining permission for permanent residence, obtaining by foreigners permission for carrying out paid  labor activities, prolongation of permission for these activities, obtaining Azerbaijan Republic citizenship,  regaining Azerbaijan Republic citizenship, withdrawal from Azerbaijan Republic citizenship, obtaining work at migration agencies.  All the e-services are interactive by nature and are partly automated. 

The persons, who want to make electronic applications regarding these services, need to fill an application form on the e-services section.

Then he should sign, scan and register this form together with scanned copies of other documents on the e-services section and send all these documents to the State Migration Service.   Upon acceptance of the documents the State Migration Service will sent notification to the applicants e-male to confirm the receipt of the documentation. 

The notification contains names of documents whose copies the State Migration Service could not receive for various reasons, and which must be presented by the applicant to the service.   If the e-application was not filled correctly, or if the documents presented by the applicant contain contradictory information the State Migration Service will not accept these documents and will notify the applicant about it.   

Reasons for the State Migration Service’s refusal to accept the documents will be indication in the notification. The applicant can file a new electronic application after all the inadequacies in documents have been eliminated. As soon as the documents have  been accepted the process of execution of the application begins. 

Applicants may access the e-service section to see how the execution of the application is going on as well as to find information about the person who is responsible for execution of their application. Let’s note that if the sides fail to settle disputes occurred over the electronic services these disputes will be settled in administrative way based on the legislation or through the court.
