This information was provided to ICTnews by the Press Service of the Ministry of Economic Development. According to this information, around 100 entrepreneurs took part in this activity, during which the Deputy Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Policy Department of the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) Elchin Ibrahimov provided the participants with information about the ‘www.icazeler.gov.az’ web-site created in line with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan’s order ‘On some issues related to the system of providing special licences and permissions for doing certain types of entrepreneurship activity’.
The portal will provide citizens with thorough information on licences and permissions required for conducting certain types of entrepreneurial activities. The Executive Director of the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund Shirzad Abdullayev also spoke at the activity about projects implemented in Baku settlements by means of soft loans. During the past year the fund provided 93.7 million manat soft loan to finance 1,071 investment projects implemented by entrepreneurs.
11.1 million manat was allocated for financing 80 investment projects in Baku settlements. These loans are expected to create over 4,070 new jobs. Since 2011, 46.1 million manat soft loan, provided by the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund, has been spent on financing 290 investment projects in villages and settlements around Baku.
29 of these projects involved introduction of new technologies: 9 projects involved construction of modern greenhouses for early vegetables and decorative plants, 8 projects – construction of modern poultry-farms, and 7 projects involved construction of modern bakery plants, meat processing and packing factories, food processing plants, electrical products plants, furniture factories and constructional materials plants. Within the implementation of these projects, construction of 3 modern greenhouses, 2 modern bakery plants and 1 furniture factory have been completed and they have already been put into operation.
